very simple
Cut the marzipan into pieces. Wash apple and pear and rub dry. Quarter the fruit, remove the core. Cut the quarters lengthways into wedges, drizzle with lemon juice.
Mix the fat, 100 g sugar, vanilla sugar and marzipan with the whisk of the hand mixer until creamy. Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with 100 ml of milk.
Fill into a greased tart pan (26 cm Ø; with lift-off base) dusted with flour. Press the fruit wedges into the dough in the shape of a sun with the skin side up. Bake the cake in the preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C / gas: see
manufacturer) for about 40 minutes. Take out and leave to cool on a wire rack.
In the meantime, stir the sauce powder, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 6 tablespoons of milk until smooth. Boil the remaining milk. Stir in the mixed sauce powder, bring to the boil briefly, remove from heat. Let the sauce cool down, stirring occasionally.
Carefully remove the cake from the tin and place on a plate. Dust with icing sugar and serve with vanilla sauce. Whipped cream tastes good with it.
