Sour cream donuts with maple syrup

  • 100 g solid sour cream
  • 1 packet vanillin sugar

Quark, sourMix the cream, vanilla sugar, sugar, salt, egg, oil and milk together. Mix the flour and baking powder, add to the quark mixture and knead everything into a smooth dough using the dough hook of the hand mixer. Roll out the dough on a well-floured work surface to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out 11 large rings (9 cm Ø) and 12 small rings (5.5 cm Ø). Cut out another circle (2 cm Ø) from the center of each circle. Heat the deep-frying oil in a large saucepan to approx. 150 ° C. Place the donuts in portions in the hot fat and bake for about 1 minute until golden brown. Remove, drain on kitchen paper and let cool down briefly. Dust with powdered sugar and sprinkle with red sugar. Maple syrup tastes good with it
