Mallorcan Tuna Salad (Ensalada de Tonyina)

For 8 people
  • 6 eggs (size M)
  • 3 Heads of mini romaine lettuce
  • 3 Carrots
  • 3–4 ripe tomatoes
  • 3 can (s) (185 g) Tuna in brine
  • 4 red onions
  • 100 g olives with stone (e.g. B. Kalamata)
  • 3 EL Capers
  • 1 large lemon
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • sugar
  • 7–8 EL Oil

Boil the eggs hard in boiling water for approx. 10 minutes, quench in cold water, peel and cut into pieces. Clean the lettuce, wash it, pluck it into bite-sized pieces and allow to drain. Peel, wash and grate the carrots. Wash, clean and slice tomatoes. Drain the tuna and finely tear it up. Peel and finely dice onions. Drain the olives. Put the prepared ingredients in one with the capersPut in a large bowl

Halve the lemon, squeeze out the juice, season with salt, pepper and sugar. Beat the oil on it. Add the vinaigrette to the salad, mix everything together carefully, season to taste again and serve. Bread tastes good with it
