Strawberry tiramisu

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • 500 g Mascarpone
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 Parcel Vanilla sugar
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 200 ml cold, strong coffee
  • 4 cl Almond Liqueur
  • 200 g Ladyfingers
  • 1 EL Cocoa powder
  • 1 EL Icing sugar

Wash and clean the strawberries and depending on their size halve or quarter. Whip the cream. Mix the mascarpone, sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon juice together. Fold in the cream. Mix the coffee and liqueur. Place half of the ladyfingers in a baking dish. Drizzle with half of the coffee-liqueur mixture. Spread half of the strawberries and half of the mascarpone cream on top. Top with the remaining biscuits. Soak in coffee-liqueur mixture. Spread the rest of the strawberries on top. Cover with the remaining mascarpone cream. Let it steep in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Dust with cocoa powdered sugar mixture shortly before serving
