Strawberry and amaretto jam

For 4 glasses
  • 1,4 kg strawberries (perfect product)
  • 1 Pack (500 g) 'Extra-Preserving Sugar'
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 75 ml Almond Liqueur

Wash the strawberries thoroughly , clean and cut in half. Mix the preserving sugar, strawberries and lemon juice well in a high saucepan. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly, and let it boil for exactly 3 minutes from the start of foaming. Partially mash the fruit with a potato masher. Remove the pot from the stove. Stir in the liqueur. Fill the jam to the brim in prepared twist-off jars and close. Approx. Let stand on the lid for 15 minutes. Store as cool and dark as possible
