easy
1.
Put the cornstarch, flour, salt, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs in a mixing bowl, pour in the milk and mix with the whisk of the hand mixer to form a smooth dough. Let the dough stand for 15-20 minutes to swell.
2.
Put the oil or white edible fat in a deep fryer and heat it to approx. 180 ° C. (You can of course also heat the fat in a higher pot. To test the correct temperature, hold a wooden spoon handle in the fat.
3.
As soon as bubbles appear on it, you can use Start baking.) Screw the wheel or star shape onto the holder and dip the appliance in the hot fat so that it is well heated. Dip the wheel into the dough twice in a row so that the top is not covered by the dough.
4.
(Otherwise the pastry will not come off the mold.) Now dip the wheel into the hot fat until the dough comes off the iron. Make the next wheels in the same way. Turn the floating pastries with a stick or the mold so that they are evenly browned on both sides.
5.
Drain on kitchen paper, then dust with icing sugar. Serve immediately. Makes about 24 pieces.
