Plum jam

  • about 1, 2 kg plums
  • 1 kg Preserving sugar (1: 1)
  • Cinnamon
  • Cinnamon sticks

Wash the plums, drain well, cut in half and remove the stones. Weigh 1 kg of pulp and mix with the preserving sugar. Let it steep for 3-4 hours. Now bring the mixture to the boil while stirring constantly, add the cinnamon sticks and then cook for 4-5 minutes until the desired consistency is reached. Pour hot into carefully prepared glasses. If you want to store the plum jam, put it in twist-off jars. Immediately close the jars and put them on the lid. Turn around after 5-10 minutes
