Mix the butter and sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer until creamy. Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with the egg liqueur. Halve the dough, stir in the cocoa powder under one half.

Put the light-colored dough in a greased, flour-dusted tart pan with a lift-off base (12 x 35 cm) and spread. Spread the dark dough on top with a spoon and stir gently with a fork.

Remove the leaves from the physalis, wash, pat dry, spread on the dough and press lightly. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C / gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 40 minutes, remove and let cool on a wire rack.

Carefully put the cakeRemove from the mold and place on a cake plate. Bring the apple jelly to the boil in a small saucepan. Brush the cake with apple jelly and sprinkle with granulated sugar. This goes well with whipped cream.
