Melon and sheep cheese salad with sweet and spicy Asian sauce

For 4 people
  • 1 small Charentais or cantaloup melon (approx. 800 g)
  • 30 0 g Sheep's cheese
  • 1 small red chilli pepper
  • 4 EL Chili sauce for chicken
  • 4 EL orange juice
  • 2 EL Apple cider vinegar
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • sugar
  • 4–5 EL Oil
  • 150 g salad mix

Halve the melon and remove the stones. Cut off the skin up to the pulp. Cut the melon into thin slices. Crumble the cheese. Wash the chilli, cut in half and remove the seeds. Finely chop the chilli.

Mix the chilli sauce, chilli, orange juice and apple cider vinegar and season well with salt, pepper and a little sugar. Beat the oil on it. Mix the lettuce, cheese, melon slices and vinaigrette together. Season the salad again to taste and serve.
