- Sieve powdered sugar onto a work surfaceand knead well with the marzipan mixture. Approx. Color 1/3 of the mass with yellow food coloring and color 1/3 orange by mixing yellow and red color. Halve the remaining third and color it green and red. Now shape fruits such as bananas, peaches, apricots, pears, apples, lemons or cherries as desired. Stick cloves or green spaghetti into the fruit as blossoms or stems. So that the fruits still get red cheeks, mix some red food coloring in a little water and paint the fruits with a brush. For the brown color, for example for the bananas, mix a little cocoa with a little water. If you like, you can make a few leaves from the green marzipan. Let the fruit dry well before packing
