French onion soup

For 6 people
  • 200 g onions
  • 50 g Butter
  • 1 heaped tablespoons of flour
  • 1 l Vegetable stock (instant)
  • 1/2 l dry white wine
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 (approx. 100 g) Baguette rolls
  • 100 g Comté cheese

Peel the onions, cut into rings. Melt butter. Stew the onions in it over low heat for about 15 minutes without turning them brown. Dust with flour. Deglaze with broth and white wine, season with salt and pepper.

Cover the soup and simmer for approx. 15 minutes, season again to taste. Cut the baguette into slices and roast in a pan without fat. Finely grate the cheese. Pour soup into soup cups. Spread the bread slices on top.

Sprinkle with cheese and bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 225 ° C / fan: 200 ° C / gas: level 4) for 5-7 minutes.
