Devil's turkey

For 4 people
  • 1 small red and yellow peppers
  • 100 g small green pickled peppers
  • 4 Turkey schnitzel (approx. 100 g each)
  • Salt
  • 1– 2 EL Oil
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 125 g Gouda cheese
  • 4 slices sandwich toast

Quarter the peppers, clean, wash and cut into strips. Cut the peppers into rings, except for 4 pieces. Halve the schnitzel and tap a little flatter if necessary. Season with salt. Heat oil in a pan.

Fry the schnitzel in portions for 3–4 minutes while turning. Remove and season with cayenne pepper. Grate cheese. Toast toast light brown. Place 2 schnitzels on each toast, then spread the paprika and pepper rings on top.

Sprinkle with cheese and bake under the hot grill for 5–8 minutes until golden brown. Garnish the toasts with a pepperoni.
