Cookies - the basic dough

  • 1 packet vanilla sugar

  • 200 g flour
  • 1 TL baking powder

Preheat the oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C / gas: see manufacturer). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Mix the butter, sugar, 1 pinch of salt and vanilla sugar with the whisk of the mixer until creamy. Stir in the egg.

Mix the flour and baking powder and stir into the butter, sugar and egg mixture. With a tablespoon, place 9 piles of dough with a little space between them on the baking sheets - they will spread apart during baking.

Bake the cookies one after the other in the hot oven on the middle rack for about 10 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and the center is still a little soft.

Let the cookies cool down briefly on the baking tray, then pull them off the baking tray with the paper and let them cool on a wire rack.
