Colorful melon salad

For 4 people
  • 1,5 kg various
  • Melons
  • 3-4 EL lemon liqueur or
  • Cream Sherry
  • 1 packet
  • Vanillin Sugar
  • 150 g Crème fraîche
  • 1 TL Sugar
  • some shell of
  • 1/2 untreated lemon

Halve melons if necessary. Scrape out the seeds with a spoon. Cut half the melons into wedges. First cut the pulp off the skin, then into thin slices. Cut out the pulp of the remaining melons with a ball cutter

Mix the liqueur and vanilla sugar. Drizzle the melons with it. Cover and let stand for at least 20 minutes

Stir the crème fraîche and sugar until smooth. Arrange melons decoratively on plates and place a dollop of crème fraîche on top of each. Decorate with lemon peel

Practical when you need different melons: in the fruit department meanwhile also half fruits and wedges are offered. Cut melons into larger pieces and marinate. Then stick on skewers and pack in plastic jars. A refreshing dessert is ready for a picnic or a sunny day on the beach
