Coleslaw with bacon, onion and cream dressing

For 8 people
  • 200 g smoked streaky bacon
  • 1 pot chervil
  • 1/2 Bunch Parsley
  • 1 onion
  • 4 EL Fruit vinegar
  • 100 g whipped cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 EL Sugar
  • 300 g Carrots
  • 1 (approx. 300 g) Spalt celeriac
  • 1 (approx. 800 g) Pointed cabbage

Cut the bacon into strips and leave them in a pan until crispy. Wash the herbs, shake dry, pluck the leaves from the stems and finely chop. Peel onion and chop finely. Mix the vinegar, cream, onion, herbs and bacon together. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar

Peel the carrot and celery and grate coarsely. Clean, wash, quarter and cut the cabbage into strips from the stalk. Mix the prepared salad ingredients
