Cold tomato soup with croutons (football snacks)

  • 2 slices toasted bread
  • 5 EL Sunflower oil
  • salt

  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 jar (s) (850 ml) Tomatoes
  • 2 Stalk (e) Basil
  • 1 TL Sugar
  • Tabasco
  • 2 EL sour cream
  • 2 EL Milk

Cut bread into cubes. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a pan and toast the bread cubes while turning them into croutons. Season with salt and pepper. ## Peel the garlic ## and onion and cut into fine cubes.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté the onion and garlic while stirring until translucent. Add tomatoes and finely puree with the hand blender. Wash the basil, shake dry, pluck the leaves from the stems and chop, except for something to garnish.

Season the soup with salt, sugar and Tabasco. Stir in the basil, except for something to sprinkle. Mix the sour cream and milk until smooth.

Place the soup in cups. Garnish with sour cream and basil. Sprinkle with croutons.
