Cold express cucumber soup

For 4 people
  • 1 onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Bundle Chives
  • 3 ice cubes
  • 100 g double cream cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • a few dashes of Worcester sauce

Peel the onion and garlic and chop them roughly. Clean and wash the cucumber and cut into large pieces. Wash the chives, shake dry and cut into rolls. Coarsely crush the ice cubes.

Finely puree everything including the cream cheese in a blender or with a hand blender. Season to taste with salt, pepper and Worcester sauce. Arrange in glasses and garnish with cucumber slices if necessary. Serve with breadsticks as a starter.
