Cold cherry bowl with dumplings

- 4 slices toasted bread
- 1 s pan> organic lemon
- 250 g Lean quark
- 1 egg (Gr. M)
- 4 EL span> Sugar
- 4 EL flour
- 750 g Cherries

1 small cinnamon stick span> - 1 packet span> custard powder 'vanilla'
- 2 tbsp butter / margarine
- Icing sugar

- Debark the toast and dice it finely. Wash the lemon, cut a piece from the peel and squeeze out the juice. Knead the toast, quark, egg, 2 tablespoons sugar, flour and half of the lemon juice. Chill the mixture for approx. 30 minutes

- Wash the cherries, remove the stems and remove the stones. Bring 1 liter of water, cinnamon stick, 2 tablespoons of sugar, lemon zest and the rest of the juice to the boil. Add cherries and simmer for about 5 minutes. Mix the pudding powder with 4 tablespoons of water. Stir in the cherries, bring to the boil. Let the cherries cool down. Remove the cinnamon stick

- Use 2 tablespoons to form approx. 12 dumplings from the quark mixture. Fry in a pan in the hot fat over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Serve the cold bowl with the dumplings. Dust with powdered sugar
