Cola cake

For 12 pieces
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 150 g soft butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 175 g sugar
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 350 g flour
  • 2 TL Baking powder
  • 2 EL Cocoa powder
  • 100 ml Cola lemonade
  • 50 g Popcorn

Roughly chop the chocolate and melt it over a warm water bath. Mix the fat, salt and sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer until creamy white. Stir in eggs one at a time. Stir in half of the melted chocolate.

Mix the flour, baking powder and cocoa, stir in alternately with lemonade.

Fill the dough into 2 greased tart tins (approx. 15 cm Ø each) dusted with flour and smooth out. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C / gas: see manufacturer) for about 30 minutes.

Let the cake cool down. Melt the remaining chocolate. Spread the chocolate and popcorn on the cake.
