Cod on spinach sauce

For 4 people
  • 500 g potatoes
  • Salt
  • 1 kg ready-to-cook cod
  • 5 white peppercorns
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 500 g Spinach
  • 1/8 l vegetable stock (instant)
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • colored pepper
  • lemon wedges and balm

Peel the potatoes , wash and cut in half. Cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. Wash cod. Bring the salted water with peppercorns and lemon juice to the boil. Let the cod soak for about 15 minutes over low heat.

In the meantime, sort out the spinach and wash it. Collapse the spinach in the boiling broth. Peel and finely chop the garlic and add to the spinach. Puree the spinach with the cutting stick of the hand mixer. Then season with salt and pepper.

Remove the skin from the cod. Sprinkle cod with colored pepper and serve with the potatoes in the spinach on a preheated platter. Garnish with lemon wedges and lemon balm.
