Classic currywurst

For 4 people
  • 2 EL Sunflower oil
  • 4 (à 1 50 g) Curry sausages
  • 100 g Tomato ketchup
  • 250 g strained tomatoes
  • 4 EL Wine vinegar
  • salt
  • 4 EL Sugar
  • Curry powder

Heat the oil in a pan and fry the sausages for about 10 minutes while turning. For the sauce, bring the ketchup and tomatoes to the boil in a saucepan while stirring. Season well with vinegar, salt, sugar and curry powder.

Cut the finished sausages into slices and serve with the sauce in small bowls. Dust strongly with curry. French fries also taste good.
