Clafoutis aux cerises - cherry casserole

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Grease an ovenproof dish. Put the cherries in the mold.

Gently beat the eggs and sugar. Sift the flour and salt into the batter. Also stir in the crème fraîche or cream, milk, vanilla sugar and melted butter. The dough will be quite runny, but that's just right.

Pour the batter over the cherries in the pan and bake on the middle rack for 40–50 minutes. Let cool down a bit and serve lukewarm, preferably with ice or lightly whipped cream.
