Cinnamon stars

  • 6 fresh egg white (size M)
  • 1 Pr. Salt, 300 g sugar
  • 225 g ground almonds with and without skin
  • 2 lightly heaped teaspoons of cinnamon

  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 2 TL Lemon juice

Beat 4 egg whites and salt until stiff. Let the sugar trickle in while beating again and continue beating until the sugar has completely dissolved. Mix the almonds and cinnamon and fold in with a spatula. Cover and chill for approx. 4 hours

Roll out 1 cm thick on a little powdered sugar. Cut out stars (4-6 cm). Place on baking sheets lined with baking paper. Beat 2 egg whites until stiff. While still beating, pour in 200 g of powdered sugar and add lemon juice. Keep beating until the sugar is dissolved. Brush stars with it. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 150 ° C / convection: 125 ° C / gas: level 1) for about 20 minutes. Let cool down
