Cinnamon quark rolls

For 18 pieces
  • 50 g Raisins
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 100 g + 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 TL + 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 Parcel Vanilla sugar
  • salt
  • 100 ml + 2 tbsp milk
  • 100 ml neutral oil (e.g. sunflower oil)
  • 250 g Lean quark
  • 1 Egg
  • 125 g Icing sugar

Wash the raisins and let them drain well. Mix the flour, baking powder, 100 g sugar, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Add 100 ml of milk, oil and quark. Knead everything to a smooth dough with the dough hook of the mixer.

Halve the dough andKnead under half of the raisins. Divide each half of the dough into approx. 9 pieces and shape into round rolls. Place on two baking sheets lined with baking paper.

Whisk the egg and brush the bread roll with it. Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 pinch of cinnamon. Sprinkle bread with it. Bake one after the other in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C / gas: see manufacturer) for 25–30 minutes.

Let cool down on a wire rack. Mix together powdered sugar and 2 tbsp milk. Drizzle the buns without raisins with it. Let the casting dry. The baked apple jam tastes good with it.
