Christmas spice cake from the tray

  • 100 g Cornstarch

  • 250 g Icing sugar
  • 8 EL brown rum

Chop the chocolate. Finely chop the fruit mix in the universal chopper. Mix the oil, sugar and eggs for about 5 minutes until creamy. Mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, spices and salt and stir into the egg mixture. Add chocolate, almonds and fruit mix and stir. Place the dough on a baking pan lined with baking paper and smooth out. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C / gas: level 2) for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, stir in the icing sugar and rum until smooth. Remove the cake, cut it into pieces while it is still hot and cover with the icing. Decorate with chocolate decor. Let dry
