Chocolate wafers with pears

  • 300 g dark chocolate
  • 300 g whipped cream
  • 150 g soft butter or margarine
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 EL Cocoa powder
  • 2 level teaspoons baking powder
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 2 EL Icing sugar

Chop the chocolate, place in an ovenproof bowl with the cream and melt over a warm water bath. Measure out 125 ml, let cool down a little. Keep the remaining chocolate sauce warm in the water bath.

Fat, sugar,Mix the vanilla sugar and salt until creamy. Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix the flour, cocoa and baking powder. Stir in alternately with the cooled chocolate cream and milk. Preheat and grease the waffle iron.

Bake about 10 waffles one after the other. Dust the waffles with powdered sugar and serve with warm chocolate sauce. Pears and vanilla ice cream go well with it.
