Brussels sprouts in white wine mustard sauce

For 2 people
  • 500 g Brussels sprouts
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 200 ml vegetable broth
  • 1-2 EL Dijon mustard
  • a small onion
  • 100 ml Cream
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 EL Butter

First, clean the Brussels sprouts and cut in half. The onion can also be cut into thin slices. Now fry the Brussels sprouts on the cut side in a little butter and oil over medium heat until they are golden brown.

This can take 5 minutes.

Then add the onions, toss everything briefly and then deglaze with the white wine and the stock and simmer with the lid on for a few minutes.

When the Brussels sprouts are done, remove them from the sauce. Then add the cream to the sauce and stir in the mustard. Bring everything to the boil again and simmer for 3 minutes and season with salt and pepper.
