Apples in a dressing gown

For 4 people
  • 1 Roll of fresh puff pastry (270 g)
  • 2–3 EL Raisins
  • 30 g Sugar
  • 1/2 TL Cinnamon
  • 2 EL soft butter
  • 4 medium-sized apples (e.g. Elstar)
  • 50 g Icing sugar
  • 1–2 TL lemon juice

Take the puff pastry out of the refrigerator. Wash the raisins well and let them drain. Mix the sugar and cinnamon. Mix with raisins and butter. Peel the apples, remove the core with the apple cutter and fill with the raisin mix.
Preheat the oven (electric stove: 200 ° C / convection: 175 ° C / gas: see manufacturer). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Unroll the puff pastry and cut into 4 equal rectangles. Place 1 apple on each rectangle, fold over the corners and press together well.
Place the apples on the tray. Bake in a hot oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Remove the apples and let them cool. In the meantime, mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice together. Brush the apples with it and let them dry briefly. Vanilla sauce goes well with it.
