Apple tree sheet cake

Wash the lemon, rub off the peel, squeeze out the juice. Wash apples, quarter them,Cut out the core casing. Cut two quarters into thin slices, scratch the remaining quarters deeply several times.

Drizzle the apples with lemon juice. For the batter, stir the fat and sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer until creamy. Stir in eggs one at a time. Season with cinnamon and lemon zest. Mix the flour, baking powder and desiccated coconut and stir into the dough alternately with the milk.

Spread on a greased baking sheet. Place apples on top as a tree. Garnish with drained cherry apples. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / gas: level 2) for 30 minutes. Then sprinkle with granulated sugar.
