Apple soup with cinnamon dumplings

- 4 small tart apples li>

EL lemon juice - 750 ml Apple juice
- 1 go. EL cornstarch
- 100 ml span> white wine (alternatively apple juice)
- 2 Anise stars
- 1 packet Vanillin sugar
- 1/2 pack Dumpling powder '8 cooked dumplings'
- 1/2 TL ground cinnamon
- 2 EL sugar
- 1-2 EL span> Butter / Margarine
- span> Mint

- Wash apples, core, e.g. B. with an apple cutter, remove. Cut the apples into very thin rings and sprinkle with 1 tbsp lemon juice

- Stir 3 tbsp apple juice and starch until smooth. Bring the rest of the apple juice, wine, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, aniseed stars and vanillin sugar to the boil. Cook the apples in it for about 3 minutes. Stir in the mixed starch, bring to the boil

- Stir the dumpling powder in 1/4 l cold water, leave to swell for 5 minutes. About 12Shape dumplings out of it. Let simmer in gently boiling water for about 10 minutes. Remove the dumplings, let them drain

- Mix the cinnamon and sugar on a plate and turn the dumplings in it. Heat the fat in a pan. Fry the dumplings all around until golden brown. Arrange everything and decorate with mint if necessary
