Heat the frying fat in a saucepan or in the deep fryer (160-180 ° C). Bake the Berliner for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Mix together applesauce and rum. Fill into a piping bag with a garnish syringe or a fine perforated nozzle. Fill the Berliner immediately with it and let it cool down. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to garnish. Color half red.
