Apple pizza with gorgonzola

For 2 pizzas (6 people)
  • 2 packs (400 g each) Fresh tin pizza dough (yeast dough with olive oil; ready to bake, rolled out on baking paper, rectangular; 37 x 25 cm; cooling shelf)
  • 1 vegetable onion
  • 2 EL Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 250 g Mozzarella cheese
  • 3 Apples (e.g. B. Elstar)
  • 250 g Gorgonzola cheese
  • 5 Stalk (s) Thyme

Unroll the pizza dough on the baking paper and roll out into a round shape as desired. Place on 2 baking sheets with the baking paper.
Peel the onion and cut into thin rings or slice. Heat the oil and sauté the onion rings until translucent. Season with salt and pepper and spread on the dough. Drain and dice the mozzarella.
Also distribute on the dough.
Cut the apples into thin wedges and spread them on the pizza. Roughly crumble the Gorgonzola over the top. Bake trays one after the other in the preheated oven (electric stove: 250 ° C / convection: 225 ° C / gas: see manufacturer) on the middle rack for 12-14 minutes.
Roughly pluck the thyme. Remove the pizzas and serve sprinkled with thyme.
