Wash, peel, quarter and core the apples. Cut the quarters into cubes. Drizzle with lemon juice. Beat the fat, sugar, lemon zest, salt and vanilla sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer until frothy.

Gradually stir in the eggs. Stir in the cream and flour mixed with baking powder. Fold in the apple cubes. Place a heaping tablespoon each on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven (electric stove: 200 ° C / gas: level 3) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
