Apple gratinated with goat cheese on a salad

  • 80 g Rucola
  • 2 stem (s) Thyme
  • 4 slices Bacon
  • 2 (à 150 g) rolls of goat's cream cheese
  • 2 Apples (approx. 150 g each)
  • 1 EL Hazelnut flakes
  • Pepper
  • 8 TL honey

Clean, wash and drain the rocket. Wash the thyme and pluck the leaves off. Halve the bacon slices. Cut the goat cheese into 16 slices.

Preheat the oven grill. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Wash the apples, cut out the core. Cut the apples into 8 thick slices and place on the tray. Top with 2 cheese slices, thyme, nuts and 1 piece of bacon each.

Season with pepper and honey. Bake under the grill for 3–5 minutes. Serve on rocket with balsamic cream. Baguette tastes good with it.
