- 1.
- Peel and quarter the apples and remove the core. Cut the quarters into cubes. Mix the cubes with the cinnamon.
- 2.
- Mix the butter, sugar, salt and vanilla sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer until creamy. Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir alternately into the buttercream with 75 ml milk.
- 3.
- Halve the dough. Stir cocoa and 3 tbsp milk under half. Pour the light dough into a greased, flour-dusted drip pan in the oven (34 x 38 cm). Spread the dark dough on top.
- 4.
- Swirl the dough with a fork and smooth it out. Spread the apple cubes on the dough and bake in the preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C / gas: see manufacturer) for about 35 minutes.
- 5.
- Remove and let cool down.
- 6.
- Heat the cream in a saucepan. Chop the couverture and add. Mix with a whisk until the couverture is completely melted. Transfer to a bowl and allow to cool. When the chocolate starts to set, spread everything on the cake and smooth it out.
- 7.
- Place the cake in the fridge for 1 1/2–2 hours.
- 8.
- Melt the white chocolate over a warm water bath. Decorate the cake with it with the help of a spoon, cut into pieces and place on a plate. Whipped cream tastes good with it.
