Apple compote

For 4 people
  • 4 solid apples (approx. 200g each)
  • 5 EL lemon juice
  • 2 EL Raisins
  • 100 g sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 1 packet vanillin sugar
  • 100 ml eggnog
  • Apple wedges and mint

Peel and quarter the apples and cut out the core. First cut the apple quarters into wedges, then into cubes. Drizzle with lemon juice. Bring 1/4 liter of water to the boil. Add apples, raisins, sugar and cinnamon and cook for about 10 minutes.

Let cool down. Whip the cream and vanilla sugar until stiff. Serve the compote with whipped cream and eggnog. Serve garnished with apple wedges and mint.
