Apple compote with raisins + variant

  • 100 g Raisins
  • 100 g Almond sticks
  • 1 kg Apples
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 5 EL dry white wine
  • Cinnamon

Rinse the raisins and let them drain. Roast the almonds in a pan without fat, remove. Peel and quarter apples and core. Cut the quarters into small pieces. Caramelize sugar in a saucepan. Deglaze with wine and add apples. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes (depends on the type of apple). Add the almonds and raisins and season the compote with a little cinnamon. Pour into a bowl and let cool down
