Apple chicken in raisin sauce

  • 6 small apples

  • 200 ml Poultry stock (glass)

Wash the chicken, pat dry, season with salt and pepper. Wash the thyme, place 2 stalks in the chicken. Place the chicken in a roaster and fry in the preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / fan: 150 ° C / gas: level 2) for about 45 minutes.

Wash the apples. Rinse the raisins. Put the apples, raisins, stock and apple juice in the roaster and cook for another 30 minutes. Remove the remaining thyme leaves, except for something to garnish, from the stalks and add to the stock.

Take the chicken out of the oven and garnish with thyme. Whole grain baguette tastes good with it.
