Apple-carrot-salad

  • 750 g Carrots
  • 4 (√† 220 g) Apples
  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 2 EL lemon juice
  • 1 EL Sugar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 40 g light salad cream
  • colorful pepper

Clean, wash and roughly grate the carrots . Wash the apples, cut them in half, cut out the core, and hollow out the apple halves to a 1/2 cm wide edge. Finely chop the pulp. Cut the ham into cubes. Mix the carrots, apple pieces and ham. Mix together lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper and pour over the salad. Season the salad cream with salt and pepper. Pour the apple and carrot salad into the apple halves, pour a dollop of cream of the salad on top, sprinkle with colored pepper. Arrange two apple halves on each lettuce leaf. Whole grain bread coated with butter and sprinkled with cress tastes good with it
