Apple cardamom cake

  • 3 cocoa-free caramel bar (30 g each)
  • 2 Apples (approx. 200 g each)
  • 1 tablespoons + 200 g sugar
  • 2 TL ground cinnamon
  • 250 g Butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch salt

  • 350 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1/2 TL ground cardamom
  • 150 ml Milk

Chop the caramel bars into small pieces. Peel and quarter the apples and remove the core. Cut the quarters into cubes and mix with 1 tablespoon of sugar and cinnamon.

Mix the fat, 200 g sugar and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer until creamy.Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix the flour, baking powder and cardamom and stir alternately into the fat and egg mixture with the milk.

Stir in apples and caramel bars.

Pour the dough into a greased, flour-dusted bundt cake pan and place in the preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C / gas: see manufacturer ) bake for about 1 hour. Take out and let cool on a wire rack.
