Apple and berry cake with hazelnut dough

  • 600 g frozen berry mix

300 gPut the frozen berries, lemon juice and 3 tablespoons of sugar in a saucepan and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool down. Peel and quarter the apples, cut out the core. Cut the quarters into wedges

Mix the butter, 175 g sugar, vanilla sugar and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer until creamy. Stir in eggs one by one. Mix the flour, hazelnuts and baking powder and stir in alternately with the milk

Place the dough on a greased drip pan in the oven (32 x 39 cm), smooth out. Spread the apples and 300 g of frozen berries on top. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C / gas: see manufacturer) for about 45 minutes. Take out of the oven and let cool down. Heat the jelly and lightly brush the fruit with it. Serve with berry sauce. Whipped cream tastes good with it
