Angel and angel wings cookies

Mix the flour, almonds, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add the egg and butter in pieces. First knead with the dough hook of the hand mixer, then with your hands to form a smooth shortcrust pastry. Wrap the dough in foil and refrigerate for about 15 minutes. Knead the dough briefly again and roll it out about 3 mm thin on a lightly floured work surface. Cut out wings and small angels as desired and distribute them on 2 baking sheets lined with baking paper. Knead the remaining dough again, roll out and cut out more figurines until the dough is used up. Mix the egg yolks and condensed milk and brush the cookies with them. Bake one after the other in a preheated oven (electric stove: 200 ° C / convection: 175 ° C / gas: level 3) for about 8 minutes until golden brown. Let the cookies cool down on a wire rack. To decorate, mix powdered sugar, lemon juice and approx. 2 tablespoons of warm water to make a thick pourable icing. Remove 2-3 tablespoons and set aside. Mix the remaining topping with 1-2 teaspoons of warm water a little thin and remove half. Divide the thick icing and color each half pink with a few drops of red food coloring. Put the thick pink and white icing in a disposable piping bag. Now coat the angel and wings with the thinner cast or with the thicker contourssplash. Decorate immediately with pink sugar pearls (possibly also silver pearls). Paint angel faces with either white or pink font and possibly red sugar writing. Let the casting dry well. Best kept in cans in a cool, dry place. Holds approx. 3 weeks
