Americans with frosting

For 15 pieces
  • 100 g soft butter or margarine
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 packet vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs (size M)
  • 4 EL milk
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 packet 'Vanilla flavor' pudding powder
  • 3 TL Baking powder
  • 25 g Almond flakes
  • 100 g Whole milk chocolate
  • 25 g Pistachio kernels
  • 250 g powdered sugar er
  • 3–4 EL Lemon juice
  • Sugar sprinkles

Trays one after the other in the preheated oven (E-stove: 200 ° C / convection: 175 ° C / gas: see manufacturer) Bake for about 12 minutes. Remove and let cool on a wire rack. Roast the almond flakes in a pan until golden brown. Take out and let cool down. Finely chop 25 g chocolate and pistachios

Melt 75 g chocolate over a warm water bath. Mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice together to form a thick glaze. Brush the flat side of the American with the pouring. 2–3 Americans only coat half with the icing, the other half with the melted chocolate. Sprinkle the rest of the Americans with either flaked almonds, chocolate, sugar sprinkles or pistachios. Let it dry
