Amaretto cheese slices

Pre-bake the base in the preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C / gas: level 2) for 18–20 minutes on the lower rail

Remove the base from the oven, distribute the quark mixture evenly on top and bake at the same temperature on the lowest rack for 55–60 minutes. Just before the end of the baking time(15–20 minutes) beat the 6 egg whites and lemon juice very stiffly with the whisk of the hand mixer, pouring in 300 g of sugar. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved
Take the cake out of the oven and place on a wire rack. Spread the egg white mixture evenly and loosely (carefully so that the quark mixture is not damaged) on the cake, leaving an approx. 2 cm wide edge. Sprinkle with amarettini and flaked almonds. Bake again at the same temperature on the middle rack for 18–20 minutes. Take out of the oven, place on a wire rack and let cool down well. Dust with icing sugar, cut into pieces and arrange on a plate
