Altländer apple pie

  • 20 g Almond flakes
  • 1 EL Apricot jam
  • 1 EL Icing sugar

Wash the apples, peel, cut in half, cut out the core. Score the top of the apple halves several times and drizzle with lemon juice. Mix the fat, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer until creamy. Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in in portions.Put the dough in a greased springform pan (26 cm Ø), smooth it out, distribute the apple halves evenly in it. Sprinkle the edge with flaked almonds. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / convection: 150 ° C / gas: level 2) for 40-45 minutes. Meanwhile, heat the jam. Take the cake out of the oven and place on a rack. Brush the apple halves with the warm jam. Remove the cooled cake from the tin, dust the edge with icing sugar. Whipped cream tastes good with it
