Altländer apple pie

  • 6 Apples (approx. 125 g each)
  • 2 EL lemon juice
  • 125 g lactose-free butter or margarine
  • 100 g sugar
  • pulp of 1/2 vanilla pod

  • 175 g Flour
  • 1/2 packet Baking powder
  • 20 g Almond flakes
  • 1 EL Apricot jam
  • 1 EL Icing sugar

Wash, peel and halve apples, cut out the core. Score the top of the apple halves several times and sprinkle with lemon juice

Mix the fat, sugar, vanilla pulp and salt until creamy with the whisk of the hand mixer. Eggsstir in one after the other. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in in portions. Put the dough in a greased springform pan (26 cm Ø), smooth it out, distribute the apple halves evenly in it. Sprinkle the edge with flaked almonds. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 175 ° C / fan: 150 ° C / gas: level 2) for 40-45 minutes

Meanwhile, heat the jam. Take the cake out of the oven and place on a rack. Brush the apple halves with the warm jam. Remove the cooled cake from the tin, dust the edge with icing sugar. Whipped cream (lactose-free) tastes good with it
