Alsatian autumn salad

For 4 people
  • 1/2 head of white cabbage (approx. 500 g)
  • 1 EL coarse mustard
  • 1 TL Sugar
  • 2 EL Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 EL Walnut oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 250 g meat sausage
  • 200 g Munster cheese
  • 40 g Raisins
  • 40 g Walnut kernels

Clean and wash the cabbage and cut or slice into fine strips. Mix the mustard, sugar and vinegar together. Fold in a thin stream of oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Knead the dressing with the cabbage and let it steep for about 1 hour.

Cut the sausage into thin slices. Dice cheese. Rinse and drain the raisins. Fold the cheese, sausage, walnuts and raisins into the cabbage. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Arrange salad in bowls
