Almond meatballs in curry sauce

For 4 people
  • 1 rolls from the previous day
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 50-75 g whole almond kernels with skin
  • 75 g raisins
  • 500 g Minced beef
  • 1 egg (Gr. M)
  • Salt, white Pepper
  • possibly. gemah. Cumin
  • 2 EL Oil
  • 1-2 TL Curry, 1/4 l milk
  • 1 TL Vegetable stock (instant)
  • 3-4 tbsp light sauce binder
  • 2-3 EL sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 1/2 Bundle Parsley

Soak the rolls. Peel and dice the onion. Roughly chop the almonds. Wash the raisins

Knead the mince, squeezed bread roll, onion, egg, a third of almonds and half of the raisins. Season with salt, pepper and possibly cumin. Form 12-14 balls from it

Heat the oil. Fry the balls brown all over for 8-10 minutes. Dust with curry. Add the remaining almonds and raisins. Stir in milk and 1/4 l water. Bring to the boil, stir in the stock and let everything simmer for about 5 minutes

Tie the sauce with a sauce thickener and refine with sour cream. Season to taste with salt, pepper and curry. Wash, chop and sprinkle the parsley. Flatbread or rice goes well with it
