African pumpkin rice pot
- The onions are peeled , cut into cubes and sautéed in hot oil. Add the rice, fry in the oil and pour water over it so that the rice is about three centimeters high.
- Gradually add the stock cube, the crushed garlic cloves, the pitted and chopped dates or raisins, the pumpkin flesh and finally the spices.
- When the rice is done and the dish is well seasoned, it can be served garnished with chopped chives.
