Advent brunch: cinnamon and plum crumble

  • 2 glasses (720 ml each) plums
  • 150 g walnuts
  • 1 packet 'Vanilla flavor' pudding powder
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 TL Cinnamon
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 packet Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 egg yolk (size M)
  • 100 g Butter
  • 1 EL Icing sugar

Bring the remaining plum juice to the boil, stir in the mixed pudding powder, bring to the boil while stirring and simmer for about 1 minute. Stir in the plums. Put in an ovenproof baking dish. For the crumble, put flour, 100 g sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, egg yolk and butter in flakes in a bowl. Mix with the dough hook of the hand mixer, then work into sprinkles with your hands. Spread the sprinkles on the plums. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 200 ° C / convection: 175 ° C / gas: level 3) for 25–30 minutes. Take out of the oven and dust with icing sugar. Vanilla ice cream tastes good with it
